Do you FLY?

I'm not talking in an airplane or with your own set of wings you keep in the back of your closet - I mean, do you FLY? http://www.flylady.com/

I'd like to fly. I've attempted to fly. Yet, I am flightless.

Procrastinate: ability to put off anything for absolutely any reason what-so-ever (insert picture of ME).

Sadly, I have high hopes, great intentions...still, where am I? Blogging? I don't just blog. I eat, pick up toys, clean the kitchen 5 times a day, do at least 1 load of laundry a day, edit pictures for entertainment or to send to my husband, I could go on... So, it's not that I'm not doing anything, but when I do have a clear opportunity (nap time) to do *extra*, for some reason my little switch gets turned to "check out" mode. The Love of My Life (he does need an easier code name dear cousin...) has noticed as soon as the twins go to bed - I'm DONE. Again, the switch gets turned. I'm officially "checked out". I must be linked to them somehow. Or. Perhaps they just exhaust me. That is a possibility.

Back to flying.

I am definitely not a *clean the whole house on Saturday* kind of girl. I'm more of an *oh MAN the kitchen needs to be mopped* as I pluck my foot off the sticky floor. Ok, maybe not THAT bad. But, did you look up the word PROCRASTINATE in the dictionary, I'm almost 100% certain my photo is in there. It has to be.

But truthfully, I have tried to dedicate a set of chores for each day so that I'm not so overwhelmed at the end of the week. It does work, more or less.

The Fly Lady has a lot of really great ideas and ways to motivate. I'm somewhere in the middle I think. My house is relatively clean (most would agree). But today, looking around at my half torn up office, most would not agree. (BTW, I did sell the couch and the twins will be moving soon - pictures to come!)

So, today, I'm going to FLY in my office. I need to declutter and get it ready to move into a smaller room. No problem. Right?
