He looks down and says to me "mama why is there a mouse in the pool?"
Oh for the love of ....I have never scampered out of a pool so quickly. Or scampered any where so quickly.
(Well, there was the situation at the park last week when we saw a mouse come out from under the Snack Shack...I may have jumped on the picnic table.
I can't say I did or didn't..it's likely I let out a small scream too...I may have blacked out for 2-3 seconds...so glad it was late and very few witnesses.
But back to the mouse in my pool. I did, ON. MY. OWN. Get the pool net and remove the small varmint and fling him into the pile of branches my sweet husband needs to clean up. I need to remember to tell him that.....since I didn't need to call him this time for advice.

Have you not put up a sign stating "no varmits allowed"? Am proud though, that you didn't have to call hubby AND you removed it yourself! By the end of summer you will be able to just reach in with your hands and remove them, right??? Please be sure they are removed before I get there!!!!!
