What in the World Wyatt!!

We used to call him that. If you knew Wyatt, you would know why. If you have never met Wyatt, I am very sorry, because I honestly think that everyone should have a 'Wyatt' in their lives. He completes us. When he's not around (be it outside or at Grandma and Grandpa's), it is obvious in so many ways.

The child is all about FUN. He loves to do just about anything that involves not taking a nap or not going to bed. Believe me, he needs the naps. He is on the go from the time he wakes up until the time he crashes.

He loves to drive his tractor fast and rough. He loves to give his brother and sister rides around the house and they love it too! He likes to jump from high places and he loves to climb anything. He wants to do as much as he can, on his own. He is all boy and not afraid to show it.

He loves with everything he has. He loves chocolate milk. He loves chocolate cookies. Really, anything with chocolate, he's all about it! Anything he can buy from the snack bar at the park is a favorite as well. He doesn't waste a drop of ice cream and can eat a Dilly bar without a drip hitting the ground. He doesn't like nearly anything I cook. But he does love a good cuddle.

He loves to be with his Dad outside doing anything. He will rake, dig, pull weeds, move rocks and enjoy a cool beverage on a hot day with his Dad. He will stay out there with him for hours (unlike his big brother who will do none of that without a huge price tag attached - lol!).

He is precocious, adventurous, rambunctious, high energy and way more than one person can handle! He takes each day to a level that will exhaust everyone around him. He adores attention and will sit and talk with just about anyone who will have an intelligent conversation with him.

He loves to play in the water, make mud and drink from the hose (what boy doesn't?). He prefers outdoor plumbing to indoor plumbing :- ) (my little conservationist!).

He is super sweet and loves hugs and kisses. He loves to have his brother and sister hug on him and wouldn't trade being the center of their world for anything.
He is.....

Game 3

With the obvious seasonal threat of summer monsoons, we did wonder if we would all make another trip to the far away park only to be turned away at the rain. Thankfully for my gas tank and my dwindling kid watcher fund (since we don't 'sit' on babies, we don't call it babysitting), the game was played and never delayed. Quite the 'rhym-ist' aren't I?

Pre-game excitement (except the guy in the middle I guess)

This game happened to be the battle of the pitchers and after 4 innings it was 0 to 1 them. Typically we are given about 2 hours to finish a game - so give or take that with rain, lightening etc. This particular game was over in 1 hour 15 minutes. That's how tough it was. Few hits. Few walks. Sad loss. Very little to comment on really. Except for Wyatt, I think he won!

From the looks of it, she may be my new daughter-in-law. This cutie pie belongs to our team - and is the sister on one of our players. Good thing, I'd hate to have to search all over town to find her again, seriously, quite a sweetheart!

But, all was not lost - we did complete the game without delay or a reschedule. That's a big deal these days!

And here's a little cheese for your ham...
